First performed in October 2000 in the Teatro Sala Muntaner in Barcelona, The Bridge is a play in two parts, Love Lost and Love Recovered that explores, in searingly poetical language, the three themes of love, death and war. Two soldiers meet two very different embodiments of feminity against a backdrop of the pounding guns of conflict. Can love survive? Will life continue?
