So, we sat outside for 5 hours in the sweltering heat, on little stools in Aberdeen, waiting to do one scene in the Jumbo Restaurant. It was a scene in a casino, we had to be the gamblers, patrons, high-end types. We had to look good, dressed for a black tie event, ready to spend money. Make-up artist, hair stylists, the works, got us ready only to melt and sweat for hours. Had some water and a lunch box. Then it was time to go over.
I thought I would show up and experience a Hollywood film in the making, thought it would be more organized than local productions, really didn't think I'd be spending 5 hours in the sun, in the heat on a stool. And then being herded on to the boat to get to the Jumbo. Oh wait, sitting on the boat for an hour, then going over. Sweating.
It was a relief getting into some air-con, had to readjust. And did 2 hours of filming.
Emilie got some pics, we don't look that bad, but all I can say, I will never do that again.
