We are already halfway through the year and summer is at its zenith. It’s time to switch your phenomenal foundations and powders that worked best in winters with the ones that will make you slay in summer. Interestingly, most of our makeup essentials are getting an improved upgrade for the summer. Since I’m a makeup blogger and a self-taught makeup artist, I’m always in search of the best products out there that I can suggest to my readers and viewers. With my Frontier Service, I have figured out some of the best products for summer and I’m going to share this incredible list in this post.
Get your hands on these products!
Just start saving, and invest in the right beauty products. I have considered many things while suggesting these products. They are multi-purpose, long wear, and of course, humidity-defying. Scroll down to discover the beauty products that are worth buying this season. And, you can thank me later.
• Pigment Pots
You need to have a few pigment pots in your makeup stash this summer. To have a fresh glow, you just have to press your finger in the tiny jar and dab it on the cheekbones, apples, lids, and lips. I would suggest a coral pot to reflect the tint of a setting sun perfectly. Your skin will look flawlessly sun-kissed. MAC has some amazing shades to offer.
• Mascara
Mascara is a must-have no matter what the season is. In summers, kohls are not a good idea. I actually think that they are tacky for summers. And, without them, a mascara has to be good enough to make up for the rest. Splurge into a cool mascara and invest in buying a nice, voluminous one in summers. Twiggy, lush lashes are staying in the trend. Instead of spending extravagantly on lash extensions, get yourself a nice, clump-free mascara. Check out Dior and Bobbi Brown’s mascaras for amazing volume and thickness in your lashes.
• Liquid Moisturizer
Although, you don’t need too much moisturizing in summers, investing in a nice mascara is a good idea. Choose liquid moisturizers instead of creams. They will make your skin look more fresh, glowing, and healthy. Also, add moisturizer as an essential part of your makeup regimen. Moisturizer works as a perfect ingredient to prep the skin and to keep it hydrated. Check out Body Shop and L’Oréal Paris liquid moisturizers.
• The Sunscreen
Summer means scorching sun and hot wind. You are going to step outside and if it happens often, then you should definitely invest in a high-performance sunscreen. Choose the one that is not too chemical-laden and doesn’t clog your pores. The sunscreen should ideally be very light so that, it can shield yet it blends into the skin flawlessly. Check out Clinique and Kama Ayurveda sunscreens.
• The Body Mist
Yes, it going to be hot and you will be splashing water on your face quite often. It’s time to replace the regular water with the body mist, which is full of some amazing skin benefits. Body mists are soothing, antiseptic, and refreshing and you can choose according to your skin type and needs. Check out the face and body mists by The Body Shop.
• Lipsticks and Nail Paints
Every makeup lover has tons of lipsticks and nail paints. Summer is the perfect time to flaunt all those bright hues. This season, invest in semi-matte lip tint. They are neither too dry, nor too glossy and are perfect for a summer look. For nail paints, consider applying a gel polish for a long wear. Wear bright hues in nail paints this season. Go for nude and coral hues in lipsticks. Check out Huda Beauty’s Demi Matte lip colors for a perfect texture and amazing shades. Estee Lauder, Revlon, and MAC have some incredible lip color options too.
• Shower Gels and Soaps
When you talk about summer, what comes to your mind? Sweat, oil, dust, and grime. It wouldn’t be wrong to call summer the ‘bath season’. Without showering, it becomes impossible to get rid of the sweat and dirt. You need to be conscious about the sort of bath soaps and shower gels that you are using. It would be good to invest in an effective shower gel to get rid of the excess oil, dirt, debris, and even rash. If you have dry skin, don’t pick a gel that makes your skin drier and deprived of the essential body oils. Check out the remarkable collection of these products in The Body Shop.
You also need to conduct an extensive research on the type of skin that you have and the products that will suit you the best. I also found out the best products for my combination skin on my Frontier TV packages deal and my skin has remarkably improved ever since I started using the right products.
