2017: When I look at lone trees like this one, I become thoughtful. It has seen good and bad times and even though it's all alone, it stands firmly. I am lucky enough to not be alone, however the art of telling stories through film can be a lonely process, even though it's only possible through teamwork. As a filmmaker I owe it to myself to keep on improving my craft.
