2017: When I look at lone trees like this one, I become thoughtful. It has seen good and bad times and even though it's all alone, it stands firmly. I am lucky enough to not be alone, however the art of telling stories through film can be a lonely process, even though it's only possible through teamwork. As a filmmaker I owe it to myself to keep on improving my craft. This is why I feel obliged for 2017 (and hopefully afterwards) to dedicate most of my time to my own projects and film as much of them as possible. Write, plan, film, edit, repeat. As often as possible. ??????
