Please also note that I am trying to disseminate a hotline number ( my firm’s out of office hours emergency number) to encourage witnesses of police excessive force / abuse to ring in with details so we can give immediate advice on what to do – ie give a short witness statement (when matters are fresh in their mind) and most importantly tie together footage of police behavior with the people who have taken the footage – for authentication purposes and so that footage can be used in court later if needs be ( people must understand that simply uploading images will not be enough for future use in court)
