Julia and Julie

Having the great chance to be in taiwan and to have the cool teacher friend Mr.Lam who urges me to watch this and read that, I went to see a late night showing of the this deliciously new movie "Julia and Julie" today.

What an amazingly lovely performance by Meryl Streep!!! I liked her before, but this movie made me fall completely in love with her and see her in a completely new light. The real-life character she's playing is a fun-loving life-savouring famous lady chef whose name is Julia Child. You can't help but get excited too when you sees the way she treats life. One of my most memorable scenes was when she first arrived to Paris, went to taste her first meal, which consisted of a seabass looking sort of fish. The childlike joy she expressed when she took her first bite was ever so inspiring. Of course, the way MS handled it was truly genius.

This is a movie about courage...and reviving the joys of life. My limited writing ability can't begin to explain the inspiring film, maybe you should all just see for yourselves.
