It took me forever to come back to blog and organize my work from 2011. But, it's better than never... So, I decided to revisit my earlier work before the end of the year.
Working on "
Offending the Audience" scrīpt was quite a journey. Meeting this project really made me think why I do what I do... Creating various experimental performances, taking a part in a play is one of my passion. However, encountering this project really made me think "Responsibility as a performer." and " Responsibility as an audience." I went to see a play yesterday, and my thought was... it was beautifully performed, but there wasn't much that grabbed my heart. In other words, I was entertained by visual stimulus, but came out feeling so... what was it all about? Then I thought about these two lines from
Peter Handke
scrīpt.
"Responsibility as a performer." and " Responsibility as an audience."
(Me -Director Vee - my co-performer Tuen!) While I was in Taipei, I met a group of performer who is practicing the training in Suzuki Theater. Thank you for letting me join. It was wonderful meeting you guys!
