I have had a project that I Have been working on since last year which is now a website coming through. I Heart Organic is what will link the health and green worlds together.
You see I often have clients that say "where do I eat?" and after a few too many asking me the same questions, I decided to have a new way of getting this information.
I heart organic started as a name for my radio show which will be on the I Heart Organic web site, shortly after the launch. The name I heart organic was created by my sister Jen. She woke up in the middle of the night and wrote it down on a peace of paper. In the morning she left me this piece of paper, and I saw the name "I Heart Organic." Jen didn't even remember writing it down, but she did it sometime in the middle of the night. It has been said that the greatest solutions are created in our most relaxed state. Albert Einstein used to take a bath in the middle of the day and when his friends would come over they would ask "what is he doing in there?" To which his wife would reply "play with the bubbles."
From here I heart organic evolved to a book that I wanted to write on organic food, in the bay area. After figuring all the work that I was going to have to put forth, I decided to make it a website. Still much work was required and it wouldn't have evolved fast enough. So now, I heart organic is an interactive platform for people to learn about green, organic, and health, but through the small selected population. On its launch on the 31st of this month, we will have about 25 different Restaurants, Markets, and Farms, as well as 25 different practitioners. As the site grows more will be listed, and more locations will be listed. Hong Kong is one that I really would love to hit.
If you get a chance hit or myspace page and on the 31st come check us out on www.iheartorganic.com
