The journey of Organic Hobo has a double meaning. OH searches for organic food and movement around the world, but the journey itself is organic as well. Hobos are travelers, nomads, gypsies who are on the road constantly. Bruce and I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of travelers around the world. We usually call these people Honorary Hobos. Near Tayrona National Park, we had the pleasure of organically bumping into Rose and Dave, who were on their own adventure — “ Nessie’s adventure.” Nessie was their green Mercedes police truck/van converted into their home and mode of transport. Together, Rose and Dave saved up their money, sold their house, and hit the road. They’ve been on the road since 2005, and in South America with Nessie since 2009. These two were true hobos through and through. Rose told me that she came to the conclusion that life was too short to not do what you love. The two of them loved to travel, and we loved them for it. They had countless stories of their adventures, but alas they are not our stories to tell. So, instead of writing their stories, I did what I love doing…I made a video about their Nessie. Feel free to follow on their adventures as well www.nessiesadventures.com
Dave, Rose, and Nessie — It was an honor and pleasure!
Don't Panic, It's Organic
