While in Argentina I realized that there wasn’t much variety when it came to food. BBQ’s with meat and intestines coupled with french fries and salad was what most restaurants served. So it was a relief to find Florentino in Mendoza. Luckily Tio Roy from our “ Mate Con Tio Roy” video introduced us to Sebastian the Chef at Florentino. Sebastian spent years traveling and cooking in many different countries (e.g. New Zealand, Brazil, Uruguay).
I can honestly say this was my favorite and best meal in Argentina. I liked it so much I returned a few more times for lunch and breakfast. If you’re in Argentina Mendoza is well worth a visit and Florentino is a must when in Mendoza.
