Scuba diving. It took one year after I got my license to finally have my first dive. But because I was going with my friend, we took the dive experience package, which usually the guide will hold your tank and swim above you. To my surprise, after I told him I have a license, he let me swim on my own. At first I was kind of worried because I thought I have forgotten everything I learned. Amazing how some memories just came right back huh? I was a lot more at ease than last year and balanced pretty well under the sea. Before I noticed, I actually no longer found it struggling to breath with the regulator. In fact, I kind of enjoyed that feeling. When everything is three times bigger than its actual size, there is no way you won't find a thing not amusing. I love the underwater world. I love this world so much I sometimes wish I was a mermaid. Every time when fishes swim pass me, when I swim pass those gigantic coral reefs, I can think of nothing but how amazing God is. MAJESTIC is the only word I can use to describe everything I see. It's scary, because even the most experienced diver will face unexpected accident. It's challenging, because it takes skills, courage and the right ear canals to let the adventure happen. It's tiring, because every gear is heavy and swimming is not that easy with all the currents going on. Yet it's eye-widening, because you see things that you've seen only on documentaries. It's fun, because it is. It's joyful, because you start to realize how perfect this world is created to be. Now let's sing "under the sea"!
