and genuinely laugh

more than just funny stories to keep me smiling

flowers on a monday

you woke me

as i was indefinitely dreaming

of the past me

in mourning

and pulled me outside

into the sunlight

i know sometimes i let

hope

get the better of me

but when the time comes

you won't have to worry at all

this kind of happiness
