Data logging centers: 3 ways to make big $$$

The days of honesty are gone.

Here is a data logging center that preys on three sides:

1. The victim (a consumer is convinced to log-in their name, email and other information)

2. Another victim is the maker of the product (signs up for this marketing campaign and unknowingly loses control of their target database and also pays a fee to the data logging center)

3. The greedy investor(s): financier of the operations

Here is a sample revenue generating website targeting high net worth & greedy investors to put money into their business model. They send you a private email claiming to the investor that any amount of investment will multiply by 200%. This means if you give them $20,000 USD at the end of one year, they will provide you with $40,000 USD of interest and the additional $20,000 USD of principal. 

How is it done?

Making $$$ is becoming an increasingly larger problem everyday. As financial stresses rise, homeowners are getting creative and using CPC's or Cost Per Click to ask help from their friends to click 100 times per day to help them make an extra $100.

1. User login/information is accessed by offering to give away something for free. There is a catch you need to divulge you personal information:

Here is an advertisement that claims they even donate to charity however the user needs to actually enter more data (address, phone number, DOB, homephone etc). The problem is this private information is then resold 8-10x on the aftermarket so you don't know who has your information.

1. They look to pitch to greedy investors. These investors are sold on the fact that over 800% profit will arise from #1 & #2 revenues combined and this is why they can promise you a 200% return on your investment.

Summary:

While this project works, it preys on people and destroys the system. As your profile and information is circulated onto the internet, identity theft increases. Hackers also get hold of your address, telephone numbers and you will ultimately even need a new social security number.

Think about how often you've been victimized on your emails by giving out your email address and soon you're flooded with advertisements. Your e-mail that is spammed is now useless and you might as well open up a new account.

To the hackers, investors out there, this is a good business model because they will learn your patterns of picking out an email address and special questions/reminders of passwords.

Even if the investment is sound, it is really an awful thing to fund these operations. Nevertheless, they are around because investors make a ton of money financing and backing these data logging centers.
