20 years is a long time...

...and as much time has passed since i last put on a pair of ice skates.

Needless to say, i'm no ballerina on ice. And neither is Avryl

Incidentally, Kallang Ice World is situated right next to the Kallang National Stadium (which was slated for a rebuild over a year ago but somehow remained standing till this day)

So we decided to take Avryl on a little tour of some soon-to-be history

It looked pretty much the same on the outside...

but once inside...

something wasn't quite right...

No more soccer games for while i guess...

Still, we had to find out what the view was like from the grandstand.

I hope the people sitting on their behinds on what to do with this national icon of ours would come to a resolution soon cos it's really quite sad to see her in this state...
