EATING FM "FRIED BANANA"
Ever looking for a little more variety in after hours eating? Sourdough Jacks and 2 taco's for $1 can get a little tiring night after night.
Our homie Lee from Asylum Records was in town so we headed out to look for some quality late night eating and we ended up at a Brazilian restaurant called Bossa Nova that stays open till 4am or later...
This place even gets a shout out in LMFAO's remix "I'm In LA Trick"... so it must be good haha
Its gotta be almost 12am and we're still waiting for a table...
Shouts to Dylan and Sour Milk who came thru to grub dowwwwn.
Time to see whats good on the menu...
The menu had a serious selection, especially for serving food till late late night.
They have crazy salads, to filet minon, to sea bass sandwiches, to porkchops, to pizza and pastas... its too much to list but check out this MENU
Heres how the plates look...
Normally, Brazilian dishes come with a side of black beans and FRIED BANANAs.. called Plantains.
When i first heard about fried bananas with your main dish it threw me off a bit. i was thinking "im not much of a banana fan" and "how are bananas going to taste good with steak and rice?"
They're actually daym goood... they're all fried and greasy but sweet and crispy too.
I ordered the shrimp stroganoff and Splif got the beef stroganoff
IT WAS BOMB.
They also give you bread that has garlic, herbs and butter on it thats pretty good too.
If your ever around Sunset in Hollywood or in Santa Monica you gotta try this joint... especially late at night when your looking for something besides a drive thru.
