So a Jordanian, a Korean, and a white guy walk into a Whole Foods Market on a Friday night and get kicked out....
Actually, the reason they got kicked out has nothing to do with ethnicity, but I had you going there, didn't I? Last night was a Boys' Night Out for my hubby, and yes, I was home alone with our sons. (Yes, I will get my turn soon, sucka). They wanted to go somewhere and have a couple of drinks. They went to several bars, but could not find a place at the bar due to March Madness (the college basketball tournaments, which is something paralleling a religious experience for some Americans). One place, they couldn't even park.
Whole Foods (a hoity-toity, organic supermarket some deem "Whole Paycheck" for its higher prices) has a dining area, so Jeremy and his friends bought a couple cans of ale and proceeded to drink them on the premises. But Ohio liquor laws dictate that you cannot always drink it where you buy it. So Jeremy and his friends were asked to leave. They ended up at an ice cream parlor called Aglamesis. If you ever find yourself in Cincinnati, you have to have that stuff. No other ice cream comes close.
In other news, flooding caused the cancellation of the Easter egg hunt I wanted to take John to. But not before I stuffed Roland (now one month old) into his snowsuit and hauled him out of the car. Man alive, was that kid mad!
Happy Easter, everyone!
