Moss Productions has wrapped production on their latest feature film entitled “Smoked,” a Quentin Tarantino-esque dark comedy with weird people, violence, and lots of drugs. The film features Cosmo Rettig and Eric Jacobus doing stuntwork (watch for Cosmo as Smoke’s stunt double and Eric as the daddy who gets kicked down at his own front door).
“Smoked” is a gritty dark-comedy crime-caper about three gutter punks whose house burns down during a home invasion. In their desperation they formulate a half-baked plan to rob an Oakland Cannabis Club not knowing the club is secretly owned by old-school crime lord Tyrone Shanks. Tyrone dispatches a brutal hit squad called the Four Horsemen to hunt down the thieves in a madcap chase that incites a wave of mayhem across the City of Oakland. [Synopsis from website]
“Smoked” is slated for release in 2008.
