How to Make an Illustration ... Part 4

Here's the final post in my series on how to make an illustration.  Last week I showed you how I begin to add color to the work.  After my color choices have been approved by the art director, I finish coloring by cleaning up the messy edges, adding pencil texture underneath some color layers, and so on.  I also slightly changed the composition in my finished illustration by adding some fun characters to create a happier feeling to the piece.  Below is the finished work, along with a little interview I did, published in the May 2014 issue of MilkX Magazine.
