I'm finally getting around to uploading some photos of my mural collaboration with Used Pencil for HKwalls. It was super fun working together, and I think the combination of our abstract and figurative styles play off each other nicely.
Since all of the spaces for the HKwalls event were donated by business owners in the Sheung Wan district, we tried to take the owners' ideas for the artwork into consideration. The wall we worked on already contained an old mural of mine from 2010, and per the shop owners' request, we decided to keep it and incorporate the old piece into our new work. We kept our colors minimal to go with the relaxed vibe of the street, and played around with using the existing architecture to create some humorous pieces.
Go check out the finished wall at No. 1 Tai On Terrace, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
