Artist Open Studio - Recap!

I had such a great time over the past couple weeks, sharing the art of illustration with students here at YCIS.  I showcased a mini retrospective of my work from 2009-14, and also produced some new pieces exclusively for the event.  The Open Studio was a place for interaction, conversation, and inspiration, and was intended to engage students to learn more about the arts in a unique way.  I hosted tours of the gallery space, gave demonstrations of my painting techniques and led illustration-focused discussions.  Here's a little recap and a peek at the space!
