At lunch today, I pulled out an old notebook of mine from a class that I took on directing at UCLA with a known director. The date of the class was 12/17/97 (almost 11 years ago!) AYE YAH!!! I recently attended the AFM in Santa Monica.
It was my first time attending. I will post some pics (soon). I have been going to the HK Filmart now for the past 3 years. But I thought, its just down the road... I have to go (even though the price to attend would have gotten me to Hong Kong and back and paid my admission to the HK Filmart...Seriously) But it was worth it. I think the highlight for me was getting to see Terry O'Quinn from Lost. He is much taller in person (that or I am much shorter than I feel). ha-ha (probably the latter). Read more

Well... I am sitting up having a hard time sleeping, so I thought I would check in on AnD. Its almost 3AM L.A. time... I have never been really good with blogging. Plus since June everything I write seems to be about medical scares... SUCH a DOWNER, I know! The funny yet sad thing is I broke my foot last week!!! IT REALLY sucks! It was a fracture on my pinkie toe and some tendon damage... But still hurts... will be wrapped up in a soft cast for 2 months they say. Touchy subject I know... Now normally I prefer to avoid speaking about politics, as it seems to divide people more than it unites... But looking at what is going on with the US economy, and all the political bickering, and finger pointing, I came across this video and felt I should post it on my blog. So recently as many of you know I had to go to the hospital to have an operation to repair a hernia!! REALLY SUCKS! Originally I was told by my surgeon that I would have to wait until the end of August to have the procedure done. This was tough, since I was in quite a bit of pain.
