There was a toss for my first video upload after the New Years, Lonely Island’s I just had sexor Kanye West’s Monster. I readily chose the latter, because (and I quote Mae West on this) when choosing between two (widely commercial) evils, I always like to try the one [people] have never tried before and the fact that it was wildly anticipated, at least in my sphere.

All right, so perhaps, that was a bit of a stretch, but I only saw two people on my news feed who actually posted it up on their fb walls as opposed to the millions who uploaded Lonely Island’s. What can I say, I don’t have a lot of friends who keep up to date with the thug-life-ghetto-fab news feed.

…Anyways.

Argh! They took Kanye West’s Monster sneak leak down! URGH! Hate when that happens, but that’s copyrighting for you. 

Luckily/Unluckily though, I managed to take MY look at it. 

Lets just say the overall rundown was unimpressive. I remember one person’s video suggestion on a forum was to have Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Kanye, Nicki and Bon Iver to play as monsters (vampires, werewolves and what not). Though we didn’t get the full deal, Nicki did manage to pull in some fangs, with Kanye looking outwardly normal, zoom-inwardly morbid. 

My greatest disappointment had to be Mr.Hova, Jay-Z. He just did himself, really. Nothing spectacular, nothing special. Just him dressed in the same tux he had in his gazillion other music videos, except for 99 problems, that time he was dawning a street tux. But I guess, once you’re that much of a big deal, you can wear pjs and still make a load of money off it. 

I was looking for a replacement from Hype-beast’s link, and found a short snippet Sesame Street parody in its stead created by film maker Bobby Miller.
