Breathe in.

My first blog entry in a long time. Actually that's a lie, it's probably been a week since I last wrote on something like this. What did I write you ask? Ahh..Curious aren't we?  Well I wrote a tireless rant on two key things I found out when it comes to love: (1) Deception (2) Foolishness.

So this doesn't answer the question. I know. And as for you. You don't want to know.

No. I'm serious. You don't want to know.

I figured I should start writing something. Afterall, I became a member of this space, not to blog though.

Blogs are like rooms. Who the hell would want to visit an empty room? Unless you had nowhere to go that is. So I'm going to fill this room. With what? Good question, I'm just taking it as it comes. I've never been good at filling rooms. My room is a mess. I've been known for being Little Miss Messy.

I'll let you in on a story.

There is this girl, Dorothy*, and she has got to be HANDS DOWN one of the neatest people I've ever met. I guess you call those people perfectionist? or more blatantly 'neat freaks'. So as neat freaks always do, they will squeak or squeal if there is a spot in the rug or a displaced candy wrapper. Don't get me wrong though, Dorothy is a really nice girl, and I love her baking it's absolutely heavenly! But here's the thing. Dorothy also calls herself "Miss Messy". Now I don't know if that's some sort of joke or some sort of irony she's trying to fit in there, but all I can say is "WHAT?".

And that's the thing, you never know what is going through people's minds. People's minds when they do the things they do. People's minds when they say the things they say. Sometimes it can be so damn frustrating and you wish that for a second or at least a minute that you can be telepathic. But then again where is the fun in that? We're always going to meet people we don't understand, we don't like, we don't relate to. Bottom line is, we're always going to meet people who are different from us.

You know what I think? I think there is a reason for all of this. A reason for all of our frustrations , our struggles. And no it's not God if you're wondering, I'm an atheist. I think it's ourselves. As we grow older, not only do our physiques change but so do our minds. By the time our minds reach the most advanced stage of maturity then we'll be able to look back and comprehend everything that we were going through. Everything that confused us at that time.

And we only reach the most advanced stage because of our precedent, our frustrations, confusion and struggles because we always yearn to comprehend, to find, to be answered and then leave.

That's what we've been doing all this time. That's what we'll all be doing from now until we expire.

At least, that's what I'll be doing.

So about the Deception and Foolishness.

I was guilty of one charge, and one charge only.

This is my story.

 It takes a genius to figure out deception, but only a fool to figure out love.
