So why ROME, I guess its the part of me that wanted to have a feel of a city that is greatly populated with ancient relics and ruins. Singapore is a very young country so antiquity become a quest because of the lack of them in my own country. So here are some photos of the stuff that I was most interested in. Rome is the capital city of Italy and the country's largest and most populated municipality (central area), with over 2.7 million residents in 1,285.3 km 2 (496.3 sq mi). The Colosseum or Roman Coliseum, originally the Flavian Amphitheatre(70–80 AD), is an elliptical amphitheatre, in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. It is the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. Originally capable of seating 60,000 spectators, it was used for gladiatorial combat. It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering. The Roman Forum, is located between the Palatine Hill and the Capitoline Hill of the city of Rome, Italy.
