Let's Network

It is important for the sake of work, especially future projects to do more networking with fellow workers in the same industry or potential hirers. Therefore I am here, not just for this reason alone, I'm also here because I refuse to engage in any external social activities that require my physical presence.

I reckon 2009 will be a hard year for more projects to come along, so I might take this year as a year for me to build up new skills and improve on some of the area where I'm still severly lacking in. I will also take 2009 to build up the reputation of my company "The Production Office". Ironically I don't know how I will ever grow my business since I'm resistant to socialising and choosing to network only in a virtual environment. Typing into computer screens and checking for comments and looking at how many "new visitors" I have to the blog.

I'm just kidding, seriously though, in a time of economy shortfall, where panick of the future is more fearful than the actual situation itself, how esle should one overcome the condition that is set forth by the larger community? I guess the government would encourage all to take a positive outlook(of what?) and go for self improvement and upgrading of skills (In what?)

We can keep our positive outlook in many things in life but there are some situations that is beyond our control and this is the hardest to overcome.
