The world-famous photographer Herbie Yamaguchi.
After five days in Tokyo, I left for Hakone. On my second day in Hakone I went to visit the open air museum. After about three hours of walking. I decided to soak my legs in the free hot spring. An elder man was seated a few seats away from me. I started to walk on the pebbles as that would help with massaging the foot.. The man stood up and walked as well, we stood side by side and chatted. I have always love chatting with strangers, Mr Yamaguchi too was chatty. He has lemons and oranges floating around his legs, he explained that they add fragrant to the legs. We started chatting about the lemons and oranges and he told me he is into Photography. Then he said he recently has an exhibition and I said wow... then he jokingly told me he is famous and he left me his name card. Well I thought he was joking until I look up his name on the internet.
I'm home in Singapore and just did a search on his name and found this photo of the world famous photographer Mr Herbie Yamaguchi whom I met while soaking my legs in Hakone.
I wrote to Mr Yamaguchi last night and he responded, I'm happy. I believe there will be much that I could learn from him. Funny how I am always blessed with miraculous encounter.
Good people comes into my life.... I had the BEST and I had the most wonderful people in my life.
