Means, Medians, and Modes

He was preaching the other day and just sharing his journey. He shared about his simple faith and how he strives to display Jesus in every thing that he does. How every decision he makes, he tries to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Thing that hit me most was when he said, the ends do not justify the means.

We live in a such a performance oriented world(I do at least) where life is all about results. God is about process. He’s is constantly shaping, sifting, shaking, testing, burning away all the impurities in our lives. Why? So that we can be shaped into the perfect image of Christ. So that we can have perfect faith in relationship to the Holy Spirit. To do and say only what we see the Father doing. In the end it is all about displaying God’s love here on earth.
