Guarding your heart

This season of my life has been amazing. I’ve been just so thankful. A few weeks back I had a chat with my friend who just became a Christian. His coming to the Lord was quite radical but that’s besides the point. He said as a Christian he knows that he’s “supposed” to be thankful for everything. He would thank God for this and that, but what he went go on to do has really inspired me. He asked God for a TRUE heart of thanksgiving. He wanted to REALLY be thankful. Once he started doing that he started seeing even more of God blessed him. It even got to the point where he felt like in a day he didn’t thank God enough, and he wanted to be even more thankful.

“Enter his courts with thanksgiving and praise.”

Seeing the Kingdom of heaven will largely be dependent on your heart.

Being thankful will guard your “wellspring of life.”Whatever we’re thankful will multiply, and I’ve never seen a thankful person who’s depressed.
