Recent Project: Darkspore!

This is a recent project that I worked on with fellow AnD member (and an old friend), Luke Harrington. This is a compilation of shots from in-game videos I produced for Darkspore, a sci-fi action RPG created by Maxis/Electronic Arts. A total of eight videos were featured in the game: one plays the first time the game is loaded, one before each of the six stages of the game and one upon completion of the game.Luke would create his digital paintings in Photoshop and then pass them to me. I would edit them a bit in Photoshop to merge and reduce the layers and then import them into After Effects. All animation was done within After Effects with the help of some incredibly useful tools from AEScripts, Digieffects, Trapcode and Video Copilot.Check it out!  Hope you enjoy it!
