Even though in Japan I have been living in the Tokyo/Yokohama area for the last 6 years, and I claim that area, I have decided to finally branch out to other areas. Currently I am temporarily residing in the city of Nagoya. I've been here for about a month and half, since September 1st to be exact. On October 15, 2009 I decided to go back and pay my original home of Tokyo a visit. I would spend two days in Tokyo (10.15.09.Thu & 10.16.09.Fri) and I had a blast doing so. My expenses for just two days peaked at around ¥55,000. That price included taking the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) two ways, some expensive A BATHING APE® BAPESTA® shoes from famed Japanese designer Nigo, hotel, food (including Starbucks and Burger King :-), and even an afro pic ¥126 for my still growing half-fro.I spent my time in the cities of Akihabara (Electric town) eyeing DJ kits in Yodabashi camera and looking at peripherals for my MacBook, Shibuya eating and looking in expensive boutique shops, and Roppongi meeting a lovely lady for dinner and then visiting a nightclub in the same area on business. A grand trip it was, I look forward to going back again next month.
