HK ART FAIR = HIP HK + DIMMSUMM

Liza from Hip Hong Kong call me recently - she needed her skirt to be painted for the Hong Kong Art Fair that just started today in Convention Center in Wanchai. As you might guess I agree but in exchange I proposed to do it as performance and paint directly in the street.I found this idea amusing. Firstly there was something brutal in the fact to make dirty a white skirt, secondly I'm exploring different meanings of CANVAS; running after my canvas it's special to me ! We was shooting over Central, market place, in some shops in IFC as long as the security didn't appear, TST, on the ferry, on some roofs, escalators. In fact it has more to do with a movie than painting style of working: 3 minutes, cut, next place, 20 seconds, cut the security is coming...I finished the skirt today at home, in normal conditions, where the canvas stay in one place.
