Since arriving in Singapore in June 2009, Derrick has acted in over 10 short films including 'The 25th of Laura' a Finalist in the Singapore International Film Festival, 'Cut' Runner Up and winner of best acting ensemble at the 48 Hr Film Project (Singapore), Hosted various roadshows and events for companies such as Singtel, Singapore Exchange, Samsung, M1, Ben & Jerry's and Far East Organisation, as well as Sales Training and Corporate Videos for Sony and Standard Chartered Bank.

He has also organised LAUNCH - the premier media industry networking event in Singapore designed to bring the creative community together to connect, colloborate and create.

Recently he just completed hosting 2 documentaries for Discovery Taiwan, a New TV Series "Find Me A Cure" for Mediacorp's Premier News Channel - Channel News Asia and narrated a new travel documentary series for OKTO.
