So I've been meaning to blog for the past 3 weeks, completely ready with material to talk about and it just so happens that NOW I'm completely swamped with work!
I actually, genuinely WANT to blog but I can't! So a lot of the next few posts will be about stuff that happened a couple weeks ago.
FIRST THINGS FIRST:
Our search for a suitable workspace continues...
UNOFFICIAL OFFICE #5 - PO LAM 2 (The sequel)
Another marathon session in Po Lam, but this time we started early so that called for BREAKFAST! I suggested that since Rob's complex is connected to a mall, we should just cook our food instead of buying, since it would be cheaper and we would have a lot more amount. So we headed to the CitySuper located in the basement and grabbed the supplies.
Meal #1 - "Breakfast" Duties fell on me, so I whipped up a huge American Style omelette (something I've been missing since coming to HK, and eating their gross runny limp omelettes!)
Slicing and dicing TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS and HAM.
Nothing like PROTEIN to wake you up in the morning!
I'm working on the website and Simon is surfing for porn.
Rob, working away in his office in the back.
The elusive 5th member, CHUNG, was even able to make it out! He's like the POLKA ROO!
Meal #2 - "Lunch" Duties fell to Rob, who whipped up a FANTASTIC stew.
UNOFFICIAL OFFICE #6 - SWEET JANE, CAUSEWAY BAY
Next up was a nice little spot hidden away deep in Causeway Bay. The place is called Sweet Jane and it was introduced to me by Conroy, who also co-owns the joint.
Their WI-FI was down at the time, but we were able to steal the signal from the store next door!
Our slow descent into industrial espionage began!
Drink in hand, Simon and I devised our plans to rule the world.
The space really had this cool nostalgic 70's vibe going for it.
This is a MUST HAVE if you visit this place, although it would probably give you a heart attack!
UNOFFICIAL OFFICE #7 - CAFE O, MID-LEVELS, CENTRAL
The most recent place we got together was Cafe O, located in the mid-levels. I've always admired this particular franchise's decor, with this really cool futuristic plastic looking set design.
Cool "Omega"-like logo.
Bhavini was able to join us, and Si Wing was able to provide the photography!
Well that's it for now!
More to come....
