Its been a long time coming but after a year of post production, 852's first feature film, "DREAMHOME" is finally ready to be unleashed on the world.I've been involved with this project long enough (filming the making-of and some promotional videos) to feel equally nervous and excited that this day has come.As I arrived at the Wanchai Convention Centre, I could already feel the mood being set with the dim lighting and red lights illuminating the reception hall. The man with the plan himself, our very own Conroy Chan, looking more dapper than usual.I guess MC Jin didn't get the memo: Bloody AND Sophisticated! G.O.D.'s Douglas Young and Ben Lau.... wait a minute, that shirt looks familiar........IMPOSTER! D.Y. makes sure no one will survive to tell the taleThe shirt that D.Y is wearing is an exclusive G.O.D. x Dreamhome shirt BUT the ones that Simon, Andrew and myself have on are the Dreamhome Crew shirts that I designed (AND I may add came first =P)The place started to fill up quick and celebrities started to show up...... even Johnnie ToThen the director, Pang Ho Cheung, took the stand.Followed by the rest of the cast: Lo Hoi Pang, Juno Mak, Lawrence Chou, Derek Tsang, Phat Chan and Special FX Makeup by Andrew Lin.And finally the power couple of the moment, Josie Ho and Conroy Chan.It was now time to watch the film and each seat had come with a little surprise. It was a complimentary Vomit BagInside was also a cool picture booklet made exclusively by City Magazine.Just as the lights were dimming down, I thought back on the year that has passed to the first day of filming on that breezy March morning. This was the first major Hong Kong film production that I had been involved with and there was a strange out of body experience to finally be sitting in a theatre with friends and strangers about to watch it.The movie officially opens on May 13, so we'll have to wait until then to see how it does
