DANIEL WU x KNOWLEDGE @ DNM

Ever since coming to Hong Kong, I've gotten to know a lot of clothing developers on a more intimate level.  One of the brands I've really gotten behind is KNOWLEDGE, started by JBS and Annie.  I just really like the slogans they use like, "Read More Books" or "Knowledge is King".  Its a cool concept and I like the fact that it enphasizes that brains over brawn and that KNOWING is half the battle.

So it was great to hear that they were collaborating with Daniel Wu on his first clothing line.  I checked out the brochure and saw some really cool designs.

This past Sunday there was a press event at DNM in Causeway Bay for the Fall/Winter Collection.

The stage is set.

All sponsors involved are:

Knowledge for providing the clothing, DNM for providing the venue, and Baby Cakes for providing the cup cakes!

Baby Cakes's contribution came in boxes!

Each cupcake had an edible " Knowledge" logo. Originally, they wanted to put Daniel's face on each cake. Imagine that!  Every girl's dream....

JBS can't believe the interview schedule.

But he relaxes once I give him a cupcake.

Shan and Vicky probably give the best reason to have a cupcake...

Upon seeing the above, Etchy couldn't control himself either.

The crowd filled up the lobby area of DNM.

Finally Daniel Wu arrives!

The photographers begin snapping away.  Even Warren got in on the action.

Soon the press conference starts, with JBS playing MC.

I have to say that JBS makes a great MC, as he was engaging and pretty funny.

The press all wait their turn to interview Daniel.

Daniel doesn't notice the Giant Daniel Wu trying to steal his hat...

After the press conference, it was time for the one-on-one on-camera interviews.

Mid-sentence, Daniel is distracted by JBS's luscious lips...
