I mean I understood how incredible this city is and all, but personally it just sealed everything for me. My last journey on the Silk Road ended/began in Istanbul (a city I always long for) last year and as much as i was diving into my own internal monologue/dialogue to summarize East/West or West/East aka Eurasian, there was a missing puzzle. Not that it wasn't there. For sure, all we talked about was Rome...I think China likes to abuse the Roman-look in most hotels ??‍♀️? - But it's truly here, that you understand why Roma had such an eternal impact on the world. I have kick marble out of the way to understand the next section of the senate or roll over a pink marble pillar to get it. It's really the missing piece. ? When in Rome, be a Roman. ?? ? . . . . .
