A native of St. Louis, De Kai specializes in flamenco percussion and keys, creating unique, original dance music across the rich variety of music styles he grew up with living and traveling in Chicago, Berkeley, San Diego, New York, Toronto, Munich, Andalucia, Madrid, China, and India. He performs across a wide range of fusion as well as pure flamenco in traditional dance / guitar / percussion format.

His project ReOrientate creates engaging, provocative blends of funk, R&B, soul, flamenco, Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Afro-Latin, and diverse other acoustic music and live electronica.
