It’s Friday! (in Chinese)

So a week ago I translated Rebecca Black’s infamous song “Friday” into Mandarin Chinese and uploaded my version of it to YouTube. Never did I imagine it would be watched by so many people and I have all of you to thank for that!  Even British tabloid Daily Mail wrote a positive article about it which I thought was pretty crazy!

Yes, I know. A picture of me and Rebecca Black is certainly not the first thing that comes to mind. But because of you guys the video racked up over 100,000 views while garnering a view YouTube honors in less than 2 days

I’ve also received comments that people are using the video in Chinese class as an education tool .  It seems pretty crazy to me but I’m glad that something I found amusing, is also amusing a lot of other people, too:).
