跟曲婉婷在美國巡迴的記憶 Recap of the tour with Wanting

I just realized I never posted anything about the West Coast tour with Wanting. My bad.

從美國回來已經一陣子但現在才有時間分享一些感覺。不好意思。

A couple of things, in no particular order:

1. I love cheese. I didn’t realize this until I got back to the States and found myself eating pizza and mac&cheese every chance I got.

我愛起司。我在台灣不會想念它但一回美國就發現我好想吃起士和有起士的東西。我在美國十天常常吃披薩跟有起士的料理。

1. Living on a tour bus takes an adjustment. It’s true, we couldn’t shower or go number two on the bus. However, the cots that we slept in reminded me of a cross between building a hideout fort during childhood sleepovers, and what I’d imagine military barracks to be like.

一個人住在巡迴巴士上要調整生活。我們在車上都不能洗澡也不能上大號有時候真的不方便。但很快一個人就會熟悉。反正我們在場地有時有可以洗頭髮／洗澡等等。我們睡的床很小但這會讓我想到以前小時候去朋友家晚上住就一起擠擠的睡覺。覺得整個感覺很好玩。

1. I really missed my friends. It was really good to see many of my old friends from college and high school. The world is small. Thanks to Facebook it’s so easy now to connect with people you go way back with.

我好想念我美國的朋友。因為這個巡迴的機會我幾乎在每個城市碰到以前的朋友。我會覺得臉書唯一的好處是可以跟以前的好友保持聯絡。

1. Wanting loves music. There’s so much time spent on the tour bus driving between cities that we would often chat in the front part of the bus til 2 or 3am. We’d open beers and just chat away about anything and everything. We actually have similar backgrounds and upbringings. I was born in the US and moved to HK and eventually Taiwan. She was born in China and moved to Canada, basically the inverse of me.

曲婉婷很愛音樂。我們每次上車要開很久才到下一個城市。所以我們聊天的機會很多，有時候聊到凌晨兩點三點。偶爾會打開一瓶啤酒繼續談音樂，還有小時候的背景等等。比如說我在美國出生後來搬到香港最後轉到台灣。她在哈爾濱出生，後來搬到加拿大，剛好跟我相反，蠻有趣。

1. Wanting is a good photographer. She’s constantly taking pictures of anything and everything. Here’s a photo she took of me while we were chatting on the way to San Francisco.

婉婷很會替別人拍照。我覺得她照相很不錯，有藝術感哈哈。下面那張是我們快到舊金山的時候拍的。

6. Going back in the States and touring up the West Coast with Wanting was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. A huge thank you to Wanting for inviting me to open for her. Up next, Wanting tours China. Who knows, maybe I’ll even show up for a song or two..

我這次回美國當婉婷的開場嘉賓非常好玩。我也覺得很榮幸有這麼棒的機會可以參加她的美國巡迴。接下來她要繼續在大陸巡迴。誰曉得，也許我在那裡也會再出現。。：）

1. Big shout out to my tour manager Eve for taking care of me and making sure every thing went okay. So much stuff can happen on tour and I’m so glad you came with me to make sure everything went smoothly!

最後我要特別感謝跟我一起去的同時家菁！謝謝妳讓我沒一場的表演很順利。出差表演很累，有好多細節要處理。我很開心這次的巡迴都沒什麼大問題！
