David is a graduate of the acclaimed Orange County High School of the Arts. His most notable credit at OCHSA was playing Stephan Mead Johnson, and others, in "The Laramie Project". David’s training continued for two years with Cal State Fullerton’s theater department before he began studying with renowned acting instructor, Bill Alderson, where he graduated from the two-year Meisner acting program in 2008. His other credits include, a lead role in Quentin Lee’s indie drama, "Ethan Mao", which premiered at AFI Film Festival; a co-starring role on CBS’ "How I Met Your Mother"; a series regular on a sketch comedy pilot, "Improv High"; featured in MTV's 2010 Movie Awards Promo where he spoofed Ken Jeong's infamous naked car trunk scene in The Hangover; was in a national commercial for McDonald's on Asian-language networks; played Rudy in Martin Sherman's "Bent" (*winner of Broadway World's Best Intimate Theater Production) and Thomas in Terrence McNally's "Corpus Christi." He has also worked on commercials, print and music videos. David currently resides in Los Angeles and is a member of Celebration Theatre Company.
