Wasteland Tales DVD Release!

Hi everybody, The winter weather has hit Copenhagen and I've been out shooting on location and am a bit behind with my blog here.October month saw the long awaited dvd release of 'Wasteland Tales'Wasteland Tales is a feature film in the vein of 'Tales From The Crypt'. A compilation of short-films from six different directors. This time they all share the "post-apocalyptic theme" and 'Eastern Army' is the second tale in this story wonderfully put together by Scandinavian distributor Another World Entertainment.Still from 'Eastern Army'.My good friend and film mentor Shaky Gonzalez also has a fantastic film headlining the bunch. His film 'The Last Warrior' is a great tribute to Italian "PA movies" from the early 80's and includes great fight scenes and a fantastic cameo from danish actor Erik Holmey reprising his role from Conan The Barbarian. Also featured in The Last Warrior is my future co-star Marinela Dekic (Pusher 3) as one of the female warriors.My stunt partner Jack Hansen also made his directorial debut here with 'Max Fury' a great throwback to 80's action heroes with great 80's style fight scenes!My own little effort that we shot in ONE day is also to find here..'I Barbari Del CPH' is a post-apocalyptic tale where two warriors are searching for the last woman left. It's also my tribute to Italian PA movies, 80's video-games and Elvis on acid!For now the dvd has been released in all of Scandinavia, but will hopefully find its global audience soon!All the best to you out there!David
