Karate-Master Vs Subtitles and other craziness from DK!

Hi everyone! Well, the summer still hasn't hit Denmark as of speaking.. If the volcano-ash would stop acting up I hope I will get a chance to chase down the good weather in southern Europe one of these days!Recently did a short cm for Danish national tv channel DR. The cm was directed by the very talented cm-director Mathias Deichmann.. I portray a Japanese karate-master who despite his awesome skills just can't get rid of the damn subtitles! I like Mathias humour and also thought it would be good fun to try out some comedy for a change :)Check out the CM-Video below :)The movie Eastern Army will continue its festival tour and will be released on dvd here in Scandinavia before the end of the year!As a bonus to the Eastern Army dvd-release, a little short-film I did called ' I Barbari Del CPH ' (Copenhagen Barbarians) will be included in the extra-material.I shot the short-film as an experiment testing out the Canon 5D Mark II.The film was a tribute to the great but cheesy Italian post-apocalyptic features from the 80's.. Movies that I remember fondly like New Barbarians, Bronx Warriors and Texas Gladiators! Can't really compete with those kind of titles... They have all become cult-classics and definitely deserves a view if you haven't seen them yet!So my wacky little short "I Barbari Del CPH" is best described as a fusion of 80's Italian future film, Kung Fu-Elvis, Guitar-Hero and video-arcade games... Hmm.. I'm a bit confused myself too!Here are some pictures from the shoot..As you can tell it was a VERY low-key shoot! Shot in one day! Freezing cold.. It was quite a departure from my role in Eastern Army and I was gladly surprised they decided to include it in the dvd release of Eastern Army..
