The time has been slow since being back in Beijing for the last six weeks. However I did make use of the time and found myself an in house tutor and that's going well. The reason why Beijing has been so slow is because of all the holidays. But as the holidays began to wind down last week I chose to take a holiday of my own. So my girlfriend and I decided to head to Boracay, Phillipines. We began our journey with a one night stay in Metro Manila (the new Manila) to catch up with a couple of highschool classmates of mine. They are both very successful in the Philippines owning a variety of businesses. The next day we headed to Boracay and stayed at, you guessed it, my highschool classmate's resort called "The Tides". We did some Jet Skiing, one of my favourite hobbies, and also had the opportunity to do my first dive. I was fortunate the my Japanese Karate Brother's Sister owns a dive shop, don't ask me why I seem to have hookups in so many places.... I just do . I'm a sucker for sunsets. The wet market had a variety of cheap seafood which you then take to a restaurant and pay them to cook it, also very cheap. One of Boracay's famous tourist attractions, Willy's Rock My first dive My new favourite hobby And look who I found Shot of the sky from belowWith the white sands, crystal clear water and beautiful sunsets the only bad part of my latest adventure was having to leave. We plan to check out Palawan next time but vow to head back to Boracay someday soon. Early morning departure, was so hard to leave
