Just got back from Zhu Hai tonight and had an amazing, adventurous weekend. Back in June I had a cool job working in the showroom sporting the latest in Arleness, Madif and Berik Motorcycle racing wear. I felt kind of weird looking good in it but having no clue how to ride. So I thought to myself... I would like to learn. Little did I know that one of my good friend's Dad runs a school in Zhu Hai and asked us to come out and learn.... so I grabbed a few more mates and that's exactly what we did. We started our first session learning the basics on scooters and a 50CC bike. We came out of that session with only one minor crash (and it wasn't me ) We took a break and then hit up the big machines, the 600CC racing bikes. I've always wanted to ride a Kawasaki Ninja and guess what?... my wish came true.
We hit it up with our Instructor Kareem on the track. It was a good day to go for a first time run because there were only two others burning up the track. We did well, however we did have another crash on the last lap (and no it wasn't me ). Luckily our friend was ok, had to pay a little extra for wiping out but he was still in one piece and raring to go again.
We took a little power nap break and went out for our last run for the day and we kicked it into higher gear going alot faster than the previous session, but we got some good speeds going on the home stretch. It was truly a scary but energy rushing experience and it felt kind of weird learning how to ride on a track before learning how to ride on the street. We're back in HK now and everything around us seems sooo slow now. LOL. Take care everyone and thanks for stopping by. And before you all start to comment, it was not me who crashed... I ain't no crazy kamikaze!!!!
