My Make Believe Family

Was back in Singapore last week for a photo shoot job for Singapore Travel Bureau promotion.  It was a full day shoot on Sentosa Island.  Upon arriving at the shoot location this little girl comes up to me and asks "are you my daddy?"  ... now that didn't sound weird at all  LOL.  Her name was Jayme and she was half brazilian half american.  So having not met my wife yet I was interested to see what they had come up with.  My wife Natalie was much like me, half english half chinese.  And our son Daniel was half indonesian and half american.  So here were a light medium and light skinned couple with very dark skinned kids .    Jayme's mother's joked saying "don't worry, it just looks like you leave your kids out in the sun for too long".  Was a very interesting mix. The day went well and we all got along great.  At the end of the day they gave the kids tickets for the louge ride.  Daniel was too short to steer the cart by himself so he begged me to go down with him.  While we are walking to the lineup he was so excited grabbing my hand and said to me "you know what you remind me of my dad".  So my reply was "really?".  And his reply was "yeah, but my dad, he old and he fat"  .  The things that kids come up with.  Anyways will blog again soon, may have some big news.
