I am very saddened to hear of the loss of another long time industry great Rick Faraci. I was already familiar with you through public demonstrations and the movie Time Cop. When I saw that local martial artists could make it to the big screen i was inspired. Little did I know that a few years laters (almost 20 years ago) I would be playing a major role in a film and that my first battle on screen would be with you. I was excited but also terrified at the same time. But when I got to rehearsal you made me feel welcome and comfortable in the surrounding. You helped and gave advice instead of look down and mock me... even laughed when I hit your knee by accident with a blunt metal sword. We did a great job that day , not to mention the 2 other fights you had to film that same day, you were a warrior. We smothered the VHS/DVD cover both front and back. RIP, Rick. We were all cheering for you to smash cancer like you smashed everything else in life and you always seemed to put yourself ahead of others. Rest well, my friend.
