This week became very busy a few weeks back. It is good sign of hopefully things to come and it's what I wanted to accomplish this year
* Sunday--I had the gig in Japan thrown out to me. Once again, something I really wanted to do but just did not get a long enough notice.
* Wednesday--I have the first of a 3 part writing workshop with a local Chicagoland author/publisher. I have been stuck in a rut with writing lately and haven't put a chapter together in months. I also have no idea how to end the thing or where to I should end it and I can't hire Stephen Gaghan to write the ending. Hopefully the class will give me the edge and focus to finish it this year. Plus it might help circulate some interest since my deal with my original publish evaporated early last year.
On a side note, a friend of mine came up with an interesting tag line for it maybe.
"Homeless in Hong Kong. It's not my life story, just one year of it"
* Thursday--The debut of The Beast tv show on A&E. I worked twice on the first episode last December. It looked really awesome with what was put together. A&E went ahead and ordered a full season based on what they saw from the uncompleted pilot. And with Swayze's recent health issuses, it may be his last great work. I wish him the best.
* Friday--I have an audtion for a short film in Chicago. It includes a small monlogue that should be no longer than 2 minutes. At first the casting director said no vugarity and keep it light but after looking at the script and sides, it's full of cursing. No I may go ahead with an Ari monologue or the Johnny Drama one from 5 Towns from Entourage. Wish me luck.
* Saturday--I should start a small side job I have on Sat. mornings til things start picking up in Chicago again or I move somewhere else.
