Since I am in China, I’ve decided to make a series of Cars of China posts, showcasing models of cars you will probably not see outside the mainland. Here is the first and it’s from the movie I am working on now. The movie takes place in the 80’s and 90’s so we needed to find vehicles appropriate to the era and there is nothing more iconic than the “Bread Car”! Named because it resembles a loaf of bread, this used to be the pretty only thing you would see on the streets at that time. Often used as yellow taxis, this is police version. I think models and makes varied but this is a TJ6320 not sure who made it. You hardly see any of these around major cities anymore. #carsofchina #breadcar
