Today I woke up to the sad news that Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys died of cancer. I grew up with the The Beastie Boys. I clearly remember when I was 12 years old when my cousin first played their Album Ill Communication to me and it rocked my world. I have been a huge fan of theirs ever since. MCA was not only a founding member of the group, but he was also responsible for their insanely creative music videos that set the tone for their visual style. MCA you are sorely missed.
